When you find the piece you want, click on "ADD TO SHOPPING BASKET". The shopping basket will provide you with a description of what you have chosen. You can change the quantity of each single object and recalculate the Total. At this point we need to calculate the shipping charge and any taxes due. To do this, you should enter just the destination country. The total in the summary is the amount you have to pay to receive the goods at your home. You can recalculate the shipping charge and any taxes due as often as you want without obligation, because the order has not yet been sent. After selecting the best option, you can proceed with the order by choosing the method of payment and reading the GUARANTEES AND CONDITIONS OF SALE. Enter your personal data and send the order. Immediately afterwards you will receive an E-mail detailing the order you have made. At this point the order must be CONFIRMED by us via E-mail, which is done in a very short time. The method of payment will be entered on the order confirmation.
We prefer to issue an order confirmation rather than leave the whole procedure on-line because, as our products are hand-crafted, we often need further information in order to clarify the order precisely. This way, we feel we can offer better service with the aim of avoiding any surprises in the pieces you have decided to

- HOW WE PACK GOODS:
Packing is one of the most important elements in shipping a piece of majolica. The packing materials currently used offer all possible safety guarantees, and this is reflected in the truly minimal percentage of breakages that we encounter. This minimal percentage of breakages unfortunately still exists because there is as yet no packing material which can offer 100% guarantees in the case of a piece of pottery – but we are getting closer to perfect packing as the years go by. In the great majority of cases, once all precautionary measures have been taken regarding packing, the piece arrives perfectly intact at its destination. If this unfortunately does not happen, all our pieces are INSURED for delivery so as to eliminate any risk for the buyer. Breakage of a piece is always a negative event for us, but we should also add that when this has happened, the insurance company has ALWAYS paid out in settlement of the claim. To sum up, having a piece of majolica delivered carries ZERO RISK for you or your money.

- GUARANTEES AND CONDITIONS OF SALE:
The Proprietor of the fidiaderuta.com site and of the products displayed on the site is MAIOLICHE FIDIA DI VESCHINI ANNA MARIA, Via Vincioli 13/15, 06053 DERUTA (PG), ITALY. Maioliche Fidia guarantees that all products displayed on the site fidiaderuta.com are made entirely by hand according to the ancient traditions of Deruta majolica. The characteristics of hand-made majolica are widely known and we would like to point out that any minor differences between the object photographed and that which you actually receive at home should be considered an element that qualifies our products, where manual production is the main factor that sets us apart. We produce both tableware and ornamental pieces, and in the former case we observe all the regulations governing the sector: we recommend that you specify whether or not the object you wish to buy is intended for use as tableware. Prices shown are net of VAT, which will be calculated where it is due.
The shipping charge includes insurance. All our pieces are insured for delivery. Once we have taken all the necessary packing precautions, the insurance will reimburse all the costs incurred so we can produce the broken piece again without any extra charge. The only annoyance is having to wait for the new piece to be made. Packing is Maioliche Fidia’s responsibility: looking after the packing is an important element for us. Delivery is by express courier. The right to withdraw from the purchase (money-back guarantee) can be exercised within 10 (ten) days of receipt of the goods. Procedure for exercising the right to withdraw from the purchase: Within ten days of receiving the goods, send a registered letter: a) expressing your intention to avail yourself of the benefits foreseen under the law on the right to withdraw from purchase; b) providing sufficient information to identify the good(s) in question; c) indicating the details of your bank account (Bank name, branch address, account number).
