| REPRODUCTIONS:
For
enthusiasts of the Deruta tradition, this section contains
reproductions of the main lines of production in 15th
and 16th century Deruta, accurate to the
smallest detail. The lustre-decorated Ceremonial Plate is
without doubt the most important item, as it marked the
significant historical step from utilitarian to decorative
ceramics. Ceremonial Plates were originally gifts
exchanged by nobles and clergymen.
