This is a Type of pottery made of coloured porous clay paste 
(from yellow to red), coated with an opaque glaze obtained from the white colour of the tin-bearing anamel. This enamel is sometimes coloured by adding other oxides to the white of the tin.  Fidia deruta,  italian majolica.
